We are committed to our sisters all over the world, seeking to help them find innovative and collaborative ways to attain meaningful roles in building peace, liberty, and prosperity through their leadership in family, community, and society.
We advise policymakers in the United States and abroad through personal engagement, writing and speaking, and our work on the ground in countries throughout the world.
We are experts in the American Council on Women Peace and Security who have worked together for many years on critical issues of women’s human dignity. We formed a non-partisan, non-profit 501c3 organization to unite our efforts to inform the bi-partisan implementation of the U.S. Women Peace and Security Act of 2017 and maintain international consensus and support for the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 agenda.
ACWPS advances peace and security for women, their families, and communities through graduate education and training, on-the-ground engagement, expert analysis, and advocacy.
ACWPS promotes human dignity, individual liberty, and equality of opportunity for all women and girls through our work implementing the U.S. Women Peace and Security Act of 2017 and the UN Security Council’s WPS agenda.
