About Idaho Women Lawyers, Inc.

Idaho Women Lawyers, Inc. (“IWL”) was formed in 1986 by a group of attorneys who saw an opportunity to encourage and enable all Idaho attorneys to work toward a collective purpose of improving the legal profession for women lawyers.

IWL creates and supports a variety of projects and events consistent with our mission of:

Advancing diversity through the promotion of equal rights and opportunities for women in the legal profession.

Today, IWL has more than 200 members throughout the state. We are a dynamic group of women and men with a diverse membership of varied individual opinions and backgrounds. IWL does not take positions regarding any particular judicial or political candidate. We support all women attorneys in their professional endeavors, especially those who choose to serve Idaho as judges.
