Notre Dame Women's Rugby Club

Notre Dame Women's Rugby Club is a competitive collegiate rugby organization based in Notre Dame, IN, representing the University of Notre Dame at the Division I level within the Big 10 conference. Since its founding in fall 2009, the club has evolved from Division II competition into a nationally recognized program, earning five appearances in the National Playoffs and five Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championship selections. The team competes in two distinct formats: 15s matches during the fall season and 7s matches in the spring, providing athletes with comprehensive rugby experience across multiple game styles.

Under the leadership of Head Coach Ricardo Ramirez and Assistant Coach Dawn Smith, the Notre Dame Women's Rugby Club trains and competes at Stinson Rugby Field, their home venue in Notre Dame, Indiana. The organization welcomes student-athletes from the entire tri-campus community, including Notre Dame, Saint Mary's, and Holy Cross, creating an inclusive athletic environment. The club maintains a structured leadership team including positions for president, vice president, treasurer, and specialized roles in apparel management, marketing, and digital content creation.
