About UN Women USA SF Bay Area Chapter Community

The UN Women USA San Francisco Bay Area Chapter raises awareness about women’s rights and issues facing our world and local community. We educate and engage local communities about global women issues; we advocate to achieve gender equality and women’s empowerment; and we fundraise to provide key financial support for UN Women programs and initiatives that promote the social, political, and economic equality of women and girls across the world.

UN Women USA is one of 12 national committees. It is an independent non-profit, 501c3 organization that supports UN Women programs. These projects promote social, political, and economic equality for women and girls spanning 100 countries around the globe.
