Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering (WECE) is a dynamic student organization at the University of Texas at Austin dedicated to fostering a thriving community within the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. Based in Austin, TX, WECE provides comprehensive social, academic, and professional development opportunities designed to enhance the engineering experience for women students at UT Austin's Cockrell School of Engineering.

The organization operates through a structured committee system that drives meaningful impact across multiple focus areas. WECE's six specialized committees—Academic Affairs, Engineering Activities, Marketing & Analytics, Publicity, Service, and the Society of First-Year Engineers—work collaboratively to deliver impactful programming and advocacy initiatives. Each committee is led by experienced Directors who guide Members At Large in executing the organization's strategic priorities.

WECE's comprehensive leadership structure includes six Officers overseeing Executive Affairs, Relations, Finance, Membership, and Operations, supported by specialized Chairs managing Administrative functions, Student Advocacy, Alumni Relations, Corporate Partnerships, Internal and External Socials, External Committee Coordination, and Merchandise. This robust organizational framework enables WECE to serve not only the Cockrell School of Engineering but also the broader Austin engineering community.
