About Women's Center for Creative Work

Women's Center for Creative Work is a Los Angeles-based network of women & non- binary engaged in conversations about contemporary feminisms & creative practices.

We are a women-lead creative co workspace. On a broader level, we are an enabling architecture providing professional, emotional and artistic nourishment for female driven creative projects.

Since our founding in November 2013 we have built a network of over 1,500 women committed to supporting each other socially, creatively and economically and building the structures (physical and transcendental) that maximize connectivity and empower us collectively.

The project is simultaneously the work of its main collaborators –designer Kate Johnston and producer Sarah Williams– as well as a platform for our growing community’s ideas, works and projects. Through our Nodes Program we incubate kindred projects by providing insight, consultation, and access to our network.
