Founded in 1983, the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota is the first statewide women’s foundation in the country holding a unique niche among Minnesota foundations.

As a statewide community foundation, we invest, leverage, learn, influence, and scale to ensure community-based, community-led solutions to achieve gender and racial justice in Minnesota.

We invest in innovative community-based, community-led solutions to ensure safety, opportunity and pathways to economic security for women, girls, gender-expansive people and families across Minnesota.
